PROGRAM DE 4D/3N.
DAY 01: CUSCO – CLOUD FORES - PAITITI LODGE.
Leaving from Cusco early in the morning in our comfortable bus. Ascend to the heights of Paucartambo. On the way visit the funeral towers or Chullpas Ninamarca. Then descend through the mysterious cloud forest full of beautiful orchids, heliconias and primitive ferns. Stopping to give you the opportunity to witness the cock of the rock (rupicola peruviana) in the mating ritual. There are also opportunities to observe trogons (Trogon sp.) And more. DAY 02: PAITITI LODGE.
After a delicious breakfast, we continue our walk to the viewpoint and explore the trails around the lodge and other activities. Overnight Shelter with bathrooms and showers available.
DAY 03: PAITITI - PARROT CLAY LICK - COCHA MACHUHUASI – PAITITI LODGE.
Very early we leave by boat to the green parrot clay lick where it is observed from 3 to 4 species of parrots, then return by boat to Machuhuasi where we will walk in the forest, thus leading to the lagoon where we Machuhuasi raft or catamaran to sail about 1 hour watching a variety of birds, monkeys, small reptiles, and insects dwarf caimans. In the afternoon we return to our lodge for lunch. At night we walk at night. Overnight Shelter with bathrooms and showers available.
DAY 04: SHELTER PAITITI - ATALAYA - CUSCO.
After our delicious breakfast unfortunately we return by boat to Atalaya Paititi Hostel. Where we expect the bus to return to Cusco, again through the mysterious cloud forest to the city with Imperial Cusco. Estimated arrival at 6:30 to 7 pm.
