The Inca Trail to Machu Picchu is the most famous and best preserved of all the routes of the empire of the Incas. With its cobblestone paths and bridges over important archaeological remains as Huayllabamba, Runcuracay, Sayacmarca, Puyupatamarca, Huíñayhuayna and Intipuncu and all built with finely polished stones up to the great citadel of Machu Picchu.


Inca Trail (2DAYS/1NIGHT)

This is the short option to the famous and stunning Inca Trail, for those who have short time available.

DAY 1: (Cusco - Wiñaywayna – Aguas Calientes)

Pick up from the hotel early in the morning to the station where we board the train that will take us to the km. 104, and then start our trek from the archaeological site of Chacha bamba which is 2250 m where our guide will lead us to the archaeological complex to Wiñay wayna agricultural center. During the trip you will appreciate the beautiful views of the Urubamba River as well as the different types of orchids you'll find on the way. After seeing the magnificent scenery that gives us the Inca Trail we will take a short break for lunch and continue our trek to Machu Picchu and appreciate the beautiful sunset over the Inti Punku (Sun Gate) after this unforgettable experience descend to Aguas Calientes.

DAY 2: (Aguas Calientes - Machupicchu - Cusco)

After breakfast, visit the archaeological complex of Machu Picchu (2400 m) our tour will last approximately 2 hours all around the citadel, visiting the main sites such as campuses, parks, sacred wells, Temples, agriculture and urban. After our visit we return to Aguas Calientes to board the train that will take us to Cusco.
